A semi-staged, abridged performance of Rossini’s “La Cenerentola” by Shoestring Opera, directed by Diana Bickley. Set in a marquee in a lovely garden, with bubbly and canapés.

The Magnard Ensemble, led by Jon Farey, visit Laughton Community Primary School to introduce pupils to “Revolting Rhymes and Marvellous Music” – Roald Dahl’s take on popular tales such as Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs, introduced through spoken word, theatre and live music. Pupils will get the chance to create works alongside the ensemble for an informal concert for parents and friends at the end of the school day.
