Jazz Evening with the Andy Williams Trio

With the Andy Williams Trio, Andy Williams guitar, Terry Pack double bass, and Angus Bishop, drums.

The gardens will be open from 6pm. Free car parking in field adjacent (follow the signs).

There will be a cash-only bar. Please feel free to bring a picnic/refreshments.

This is an outdoor event so please dress accordingly. Bring a rug and extra layers in case it gets chilly.

The Andy Williams Trio features Andy Williams on guitar, Terry Pack on double bass, and Angus Bishop on drums.

With a unique blend of classics from the Great American Songbook, original compositions, and the European sound made famous by the ECM label, the trio aims to introduce the music of contemporary guitar legends John Scofield, Pat Metheny, and Bill Frisell to a broader jazz audience.

The trio’s ability to meld these different corners of the jazz genre into one cohesive sound is thanks in part to the progressive credentials of its musicians. Andy Williams was a founding member of Three Friends, and Terry Pack a member of The Enid, whilst Angus Bishop has studied with Bill Bruford of Yes and King Crimson.

Alongside a residency at the famous Trading Boundaries, the trio’s members are busy playing with many of the UK’s finest musicians, including Liane Carroll, Art Themen, and Alan Barnes.
